The festival aims to enhance the cultural and artistic movement and will attract the attention of media and artists, and it also aims to promote intercultural exchange between different cultures and revive the folklore and the heritage of the UAE, in addition to providing the opportunities for younger artists. The festival strives at preserving the cultural and artistic status of the emirate by supporting and diversifying the annual calendar of festivals and forums organised by the Department of Culture.
