Opening of a Photographic Exhibition Celebrating Arabic Calligraphy

During the eleventh edition of the Sharjah Calligraphy Biennial, Mr. Mohammed Ibrahim Al Qaseer, Director of Cultural Affairs at the Sharjah Department of Culture and the Biennial’s Director, inaugurated the photography exhibition "Light Scripts" in collaboration with the Emirates Photography Society. The event took place at the 06 Mall and was attended by Mohammed Abdullah Al Hashimi, Secretary of the Society, along with many artists and photography enthusiasts.

The exhibition featured 27 photographic works by Emirati and Arab photographers, showcasing a vibrant aspect of Arabic calligraphy both in the UAE and beyond.
