Arab Poetic Voices on the Stage of the Sharjah Nabati Poetry Festival
The Sharjah Nabati Poetry Festival continued its series of diverse poetry readings for its 19th edition. While a group of talented poets distinguished themselves on the third day, the fourth day began with a poetic session dedicated to female poets from the Arab world, held at the Cultural Palace in Sharjah.
The event was attended by His Excellency Abdalla bin Mohammed Al-Owais, Chairman of the Department of Culture, Mr. Mohammed Ibrahim Al-Qaseer, Director of the Cultural Affairs Department, poet Butti Al-Mathloom, Director of the Al-Heera Literary Council, and a large audience of Nabati poetry enthusiasts.
The poetry evening on the third day featured the participation of: Aisha Al-Haddadi (UAE), Ahmed Al-Sharari (Saudi Arabia), Matar Al-Braiki (Oman), Maryam Flamerzi (Bahrain), Mohammed Al-Manaei (Qatar), and Amjad Al-Sukhari (Jordan). The session was hosted by media personality Talaa Al-Amoudi.
