Poetic Voices Resound with Love of the Homeland While Others Reflect on the Human Experience
Sharjah –
The Sharjah Nabati Poetry Festival continued the events of its 20th edition with a poetry evening held at the Cultural Palace in Sharjah, in the presence of H.E. Abdullah bin Mohammed Al Owais, Chairman of the Department of Culture in Sharjah; Mr. Mohammed Ibrahim Al Qaseer, Director of Cultural Affairs at the Department; and Butti Al Mathloum, Director of Al Heera Literary Council, along with a number of Nabati poetry enthusiasts and cultural figures. The readings varied between love poetry, expressions of national pride, and emotional reflections.
The evening, presented by media personality Aisha Hassan, featured a distinguished group of poets: Huzaim Al Hajeri (UAE), Mohammed bin Saeedan (Qatar), Saba Al Asmari (Saudi Arabia), Khloud Al Barari (Kuwait), Nasser Al Tai (Syria), and Ayam Qandil (Sultanate of Oman).
