Art Workshop by Artist Mohammad Sadegh Shafiee at Sharjah College of Fine Arts

The artist Mohammad Sadegh Shafiee presented a workshop titled "Carving Arabic Letters on Pencil" at the Sharjah College of Fine Arts. This workshop is part of the second day activities of the 11th edition of the Sharjah Calligraphy Biennial, themed "Inscriptions," and it offered a unique artistic experience that combines Arabic calligraphy and the art of sculpture.
A number of students from the college attended the workshop, where they learned closely how to sculpt Arabic letters precisely with a pen using special tools.
