The Department of Culture in Sharjah has launched its annual program of festivals and permanent forums, spanning from September 2025 until August 2026. The work plan includes more than 40 festivals and forums organized by the Department at the local, Arab, and international levels, in a step aimed at strengthening Sharjah’s pioneering role in the diverse cultural, intellectual, and creative movement.
H.E. It embodies the directives and vision of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah, in sustaining cultural engagement and mobilizing all efforts to make culture, arts, and creativity fundamental pillars of public life, thereby becoming a global civilizational discourse among peoples.”
Al Owais noted that this program represents a living translation of Sharjah’s vision to consolidate its position as a leading center for culture, thought, and the arts, while also reflecting the Emirate’s continued commitment to supporting creativity in all its vital fields.
