The Kuwaiti Vice Consul Visits the Sharjah Islamic Arts Festival Exhibitions at Calligraphy Square in the Heart of Sharjah

Mr. Mohammed Ibrahim Al Qaseer, Director of the Cultural Affairs Directorate at the Sharjah Department of Culture and Director of the Sharjah Islamic Arts Festival, welcomed His Excellency Tariq Al Khashram, Vice Consul of Kuwait to the United Arab Emirates, during an official visit to the Sharjah Islamic Arts Festival exhibitions held at Calligraphy Square in the Heart of Sharjah. The visit took place within the framework of mutual interest in strengthening cultural presence and exchanging artistic expertise between the two countries.

Al Qaseer welcomed His Excellency Al Khashram and accompanied him on a tour through the exhibitions, during which he was introduced to the highlights of the current edition of the festival, including its diverse programs and artistic creations that celebrate the spirit of Islamic art and renew its presence through distinctive visual approaches at Calligraphy Square.

Al Qaseer provided the Kuwaiti Vice Consul and the accompanying delegation with a comprehensive overview of the artworks displayed on the walls of the Calligraphy Square facilities. The delegation also attended part of an artistic workshop on Arabic calligraphy and Islamic ornamentation presented by the Sharjah Centre for Arabic Calligraphy & Ornamentation, with the participation of male and female students from various countries around the world, as part of the Islamic Arts Festival events.
