Poems Exploring Humanity, Life, and Reality at the House of Poetry
The House of Poetry in Sharjah hosted a poetry evening on Tuesday, 12 May 2026, featuring Saeed Al Mansoori, Abdulrahman Okasha, Majd Ibrahim, and Wisam Al Ani, in the presence of Mohammed Abdallah Al Buraiki, Director of the House of Poetry, along with a large audience of critics, poets, and poetry enthusiasts.
The evening was presented by Kamiran Kanjo, who opened by expressing gratitude to His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi for his support and patronage of literature. In his introduction, he said: “Tonight, we gather for one of the House of Poetry’s literary evenings in Sharjah, a house that opens its spaces to hearts devoted to the Diwan of the Arabs, to poetry whose wonders never cease and whose sense of amazement never fades from those who embrace it.”
The readings began with Saeed Al Mansoori, whose poems were imbued with a profound human and spiritual sensibility. In a poem entitled A Void Called Human.
