"Sharjah Nabati Poetry - 19" Concludes Its Events in Kalba

Yesterday, the 19th edition of the Sharjah Nabati Poetry Festival concluded at the Cultural Center in Kalba, Sharjah. The event was attended by Sheikh Saeed bin Saqer bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Deputy Head of the Ruler’s Office in Khorfakkan, Sheikh Haitham bin Saqer bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Deputy Head of the Ruler’s Office in Kalba, as well as poet Butti Al-Mathloom, Director of the Al-Heera Literary Council and Director of the Festival.

The evening's first performer was Emirati poet and rababa player Obaid Al-Shuwein, who presented expressive melodies celebrating Sharjah and its ruler, His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi. His performance highlighted the ruler's cultural contributions to the Arab world, the unity of the UAE’s leaders, and their dedication to the nation. Al-Shuwein also played romantic tunes, infused with longing and poetic sweetness on the rababa.
