Under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah, the Arab Republic of Egypt on Tuesday witnessed the launch of the 21st edition of the Sharjah Narrative Forum, held under the theme “The Novel and Artificial Intelligence.” The program includes four axes for critical approaches and analysis, to be discussed over two days by more than 60 creators, including novelists, storytellers, academics, and critics from Egypt and the Arab world.

The opening ceremony took place at the Cairo Opera House, in the Egyptian capital, in the presence of H.E. Abdullah bin Mohammed Al Owais, Chairman of the Sharjah Department of Culture; Dr. Ashraf Al-Azzazi, Secretary-General of the Supreme Council of Culture in Egypt; and Mr. Mohammed Ibrahim Al Qaseer, Director of Cultural Affairs at the Department and Director of the Sharjah Narrative Forum, along with a constellation of intellectuals, academics, and those interested in narrative writing.
