"Egyptian Theater" Honors the Ruler of Sharjah

The Actors' Syndicate in Egypt honored His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammad Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah, as part of the seventh edition of the "Egyptian Theater Actors' Festival," in appreciation of his contributions and efforts in supporting and nurturing theater and art in the Arab world.

His Excellency Abdullah bin Mohammed Al Owais, Head of the Culture Department in Sharjah, received the honor on behalf of His Highness the Ruler of Sharjah during the festival's opening ceremony held in the Egyptian capital, Cairo.

Attending the ceremony were Cairo Governor Dr. Ibrahim Saber Khalil, Dr. Ashraf Zaki, President of the festival and Head of the Actors' Syndicate, Counselor Saleh Al Saadi, representing the UAE Embassy in Egypt, Dr. Enas Abdel Dayem, Honorary President of the festival and former Egyptian Minister of Culture, Mohamed Riyad, President of the National Theater Festival, along with a large number of Egyptian and Arab artists, theater professionals, and intellectuals.
