About the event

The Theatrical Performance Elements Course is one of the most prominent and largest training initiatives launched by the Department of Culture to discover and develop the potential of promising theatrical talents. The course is held annually at the Kalba Cultural Center, in a space fully equipped with all technical requirements, offering a motivating and supportive environment under the supervision of a select group of academically qualified theatre professionals.

Objectives:

• Discover, nurture, and showcase local and Arab theatrical talents.
• Equip amateurs with fundamental knowledge and skills in the core areas of theatrical performance: directing, acting, and scenography.
• Enrich and sustain theatrical activity in the Eastern Region.

How to participate:
Participation in the course is open to theatre enthusiasts of all ages and nationalities. Applications are accepted year-round and can be submitted through the Theatre Department’s social media channels.
