About the event

The Sharjah Desert Theatre Festival explores the existing and potential connections between the traditional arts created by Arab desert communities and the art of theatre. The first edition of the festival was launched in 2015, and since then it has become a pioneering event in establishing and developing this unique cultural and artistic bond.
