Sharjah Department of Culture has been achieving more than any other entity. The daily management of the days is based on thought, vision, and methodology. Abdullah al-Owais serves as the leader with directives to give, and he is the "dynamo" in the world of movement, and a maestro in the language of signs. The project acts as the hope of Arab intellectuals and allows their dreams to realise in global dimensions.

 

Sharjah Department of Culture established the foundation at the beginning of the 1980s of the 20th century. The history, the archives, and the people of this department do not need to be defined; the department today is the title of Emiratis, Gulf, and Arab intellectuals, and the way to reach it is easy; The arts, and the living cultural and human conscience.

 

The Sharjah Department of Culture "Post Office" holds an Emirati, Gulf, Arab, and International number. A fund of future vision and literary friendship. Moreover, an ideal cultural life where beauty, perception, thought, and ambition reside in absolute harmony.

 

However, what is the reason behind all this writing ?... The answer is the intensive work of the department, and it is evident in the list below:

 

* The Nouakchott Arabic Poetry Festival ended its fourth session yesterday

 

* The fourth edition of Dibba Al-Hisn Festival for Bilateral Theatre of the launched yesterday, with five performances from the UAE, Palestine, Kuwait, Egypt, and Oman.

 

* The Khorfakkan Cultural Festival will begin on March 7th in the Eastern Region.

 

* The launch of the Sharjah Theatre Days on the 19th of March.

 

The second edition of the Sharjah Award for Arab Creativity (First Edition) will be held in Cairo next April, making the edition to be launched out of UAE for the first time, following the directives of His Highness Sheikh Dr Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qassimi, Member of the Supreme Council, and Ruler of Sharjah.

 

These are the beginnings of an Emirati cultural season in Sharjah. A consistent season for more than three decades, with the same "post" that never changes.
